- We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team for both 1st and 2nd shifts
- The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Haas Super Mini Mills (VF1 and VF2) and a Makino F5 Mill with a Fanuc controller
- You will work off of blueprints and inspect your own parts using micrometers and calipers
- This role does not involve programming but includes some G&M code edits on the machine
- This is not a production setting, though some setups may be repeated
- Set up and operate Haas Super Mini Mills (VF1 and VF2) and Makino F5 Mill with Fanuc controller.
- Work off of blueprints to complete tasks.
- Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.
- Make necessary G&M code edits on the machine.
- 3 to 5 years of CNC experience or an operator looking to get into machining.
- 5+ years of production operating experience.
- Ability to inspect parts post-operation independently.
- 3+ years of setup experience (preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to train and coach others and contribute as a team member.

Work EnvironmentThe facility focuses on manufacturing steel horseshoes for the North American market, particularly for riding and sport horse segments. The CNC area is compact, requiring good teamwork and communication. The facility operates 5 production lines, each managed by an operator, a supervisor, and two leads. There are 83 employees in total, including front office and sales staff. The shop environment can vary with the seasons, being cold in winter and hot in summer depending on the shift and specific areas.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00
- They provide medical, dental 75% paid
