Position Title: Facility Technician


Location: Culpeper, VA 22701

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration:   6-12 Months Contract


Job Type: Mon - Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week, Onsite


Pay Range: [$25.00 – [$28.00]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

 

Job Description:

·        The Facility Technician (HVAC) will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions.

·        Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities, and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance.

·        Journeyman HVAC license strongly desired. Training from a trade school is a plus.

·        EPA Section 608 HVAC Certification (Type 1, Type 2 or Universal) strongly desired. Strong electrical experience / training in repairs in an industrial setting required.

·        North American Technical Excellence (NATE) certification or ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers) certification desirable. Strong Mechanical experience/training in one of the following: HVAC installation, HVAC troubleshooting and repair, general mechanic background.

·        Requires an Associate degree in appropriate discipline plus two (2) years of directly related industrial electrician experience, but candidates who have not completed a related associate degree must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus at least six (6) years directly related industrial electrician experience.
