Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and organizing litigation documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Manage communication among clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other relevant parties involved in litigation matters.
- Coordinate meetings, depositions, court appearances, and deadlines related to litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and compile information on relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documents.
- Support the preparation of trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials.
- Process attorney reimbursements and client invoices related to litigation services.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling document processing.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal.
- Experience in complex litigation.
- Prior expereince with Relativity strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in grammar and proofreading.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research databases, and litigation management software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in litigation and knowledge of court procedures and legal processes.
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification required.
