Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to support our litigation team in the South Metro. This is a direct hire opportunity with an onsite work model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research and summarize findings to provide critical support to attorneys and local counsel.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions with witnesses, doctors, and other key parties, while preparing all necessary documentation for attorney use in depositions or mediations.
  • Review discovery responses, formulate responses to discovery requests, and ensure timely completion of all related tasks.
  • Conduct in-depth background checks on plaintiffs and other relevant individuals to uncover bankruptcies, criminal records, prior lawsuits, and social media activity.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize essential records, such as medical, employment, and wage documentation from various sources.
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, correspondence, and reports.
  • Locate, interview, and summarize interviews of witnesses, and prepare detailed interview memoranda.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
  • Enter and maintain critical case data in case management systems, including damages, medical specials, and other pertinent information.
  • Support trial preparation, including maintaining client libraries and expert databases, and assisting with assembling case materials.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all client-specific guidelines and legal protocols.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks as directed by assigned attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal supporting attorneys in litigation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with document management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
