We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for IT Procurement in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is crucial for coordinating with system architects to ensure timely delivery of project scopes and managing vendor relationships to secure the best prices for our hardware and software purchases. The job function lies within the industry of system architecture and vendor management.


Responsibilities:


• Ensure the completion and timely delivery of project scopes by coordinating with system architects.

• Manage relationships with product vendors to ensure the company receives the best prices on hardware and software purchases.

• Adhere to the company's policies and procedures when purchasing goods and services, and continuously improve these procedures for higher efficiency.

• Develop and manage quotes, sales orders, and invoices in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• Utilize CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Communication, Contracts, ConnectWise, and Salesforce Environments to achieve tasks and responsibilities.

• Leverage strong technical understanding of hardware and software to enhance performance.

• Research product lines online to ensure up-to-date knowledge and understanding.

• Maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

• Proficiency in using CRM software, particularly Salesforce Environments and ConnectWise
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with About Time software is necessary
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral
• Good understanding and experience in handling contracts
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Track record of being reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
• Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
