Position Overview:East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and a mitment to providing high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct prehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the educational setting.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and other team meetings as needed.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Minnesota state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification from the Minnesota Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Minnesota Department of Health.
- Professional Certification: Must possess the Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Educator Certification: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education.
