We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our remote network and make a difference in the lives of K-5 students in South Carolina.

Position Overview:

As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional teletherapy services to students with speech and language needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented in a virtual setting. You will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each students needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-5.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
  • Deliver direct teletherapy services to students, using innovative tools and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student needs and progress.
  • Provide supervision and support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current and active SC state licensure as SLP-CCC.
  • SC teaching credential through the Department of Education (DOE).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology, with at least 2 years working in school settings.
  • Experience with teletherapy and virtual learning platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
  • Supervision experience with SLPAs is a plus.

Requirements:

  • All contractors must obtain both general and professional liability insurance
  • Comfort in understanding that this is an independent contracting position (1099)
  • All candidates must pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general zoom capabilities.
