Job Description

The individual in this position will be responsible for all the day-to-day responsibilities within their warehouse. This includes picking various products and packing them accordingly. This includes shipping and receiving duties - printing labels, scanning bar codes, quality assurance, and palletizing shipment for pick up. In addition, they will also be using their forklift to load/unload products as needed. If the warehouse is slow, there is always something to do, so being able to stay busy is a must. This is a great opportunity to work independently and own your work. The individual will oversee one other person in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack various products.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties - printing labels, scanning bar codes, quality assurance, and palletizing shipment for pick up.
• Operate a forklift to load/unload products as needed.
• Oversee one full-time employee and potentially 2-3 part-time employees depending on work volume.
• Maintain organization and detail orientation in daily tasks.
• Provide perspective and feedback to the owner.
• Interface with customers occasionally during order pickups in a professional manner.

• 6+ months of previous warehouse experience

• Forklift and shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required

Work Environment

The warehouse features a show room up front displaying hockey equipment and attire, making it an exciting environment for hockey enthusiasts. The warehouse is well-lit, temperature-controlled, and organized. This position operates on the 1st shift: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
