Travel Required: Yes

Location Responsibilities: Dallas/Ft.Worth, Kansas City, Phoenix, Ontario/Rialto, Stockton & Seattle.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00/Yearly

Position Competency:

  1. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the Human Resources Professional via experience and documented education.
  2. The ability to successfully manage/lead projects spanning across multiple departments and with a duration of up to a year.
  3. The ability to motivate and drive a team to meet and exceed department and company goals.
Position Expectations
Compliance:
  • Maintain and update employee files per the regulations of all governments agencies.
  • Manage all unemployment hearings.
  • Submit government (local, state and federal) required employee related documents excluding payroll, but including safety.
  • Employee turnover will be measured and analyzed monthly by job function and location (communicated to President and operations).


Employee Feedback and Development:

  • To be based upon the CARE form.
  • Employee reviews to be completed on time via predetermined schedule.
  • Total compensation will be communicated at the time of annual review to all employees.
  • Semi annual or quarterly feedback will be provided to all employees and managed by HR dept.
  • Manage and maintain training and development programs for all employees based on company goals and the CARE form.

Hiring:

  • Only hire employee who fully meet the expectations determined in the CARE form.
  • Perform all pre screening tests prior to hiring (drug/alcohol, background, physical, etc.).
  • Annually evaluate and update onboarding procedures.


Employee Benefits:

  • Manage all employee benefit packages.
  • Accurately maintain and update all participants for each benefit.
  • Manage and coordinate benefit renewals.
  • All benefit changes must be approved by President.


Succession and Backup:

  • Maintain and annually update backup plan for all mission critical functions within the department.
  • Ensure training of all mission critical functions.


Communication:

  • Promptly respond to employees questions and issues (within 2 hrs.).
  • A monthly newsletter will be produced.
  • Organizational changes will be communicated by the HR dept.
  • Job openings and offers will communicated and administered by HR dept.
  • Formal communication will be consistent and professional with official company logo.


Management Support:

  • Manage all employee related investigations and ensure all investigations are completed timely and consistently.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the management team.


Project Management:

  • When deemed beneficial by yourself or the President, a project outline will be created with the following items: goal(s) of the project, required steps, required resources, analysis of risk and timeline.
  • Priorities of projects will be determined with the President and review monthly or more frequently.
  • Any project not on course to meet it's goals, timelines or budget needs to be communicated to the President at time of awareness.


Workers Compensation Management:

  • Report claims to carrier within 24 hours of notification.
  • Obtain paperwork to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Report medical attention beyond first-aid to the President within 6 hours of the event.
  • Ensure company is compliant with all Federal (OHSA), State and local safety regulations and reporting.

Management:

  • Sets clear goals and expectations for all direct reports.
  • Properly document all performance issues and create a PIP when deemed appropriate.


Miscellaneous

  • Adhere to the expense authorization document
