Exciting Opportunity: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for Schools

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a significant impact on students' lives through virtual education? We are seeking a talented SLP to join our team and provide exceptional online speech and language services to school-aged children.

In this role, you'll work with a diverse population of students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential. As an essential member of our innovative teletherapy team, you'll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver tailored therapy sessions that address each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language, voice, and fluency; develop individualized education programs (IEPs) accordingly.
  • Deliver direct therapy, track progress, and revise treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address and enhance communication skills.
  • Conduct screenings, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in team meetings for comprehensive planning.
  • Advocate for students, stay updated on research advancements, and engage in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
  • Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
  • AlaskaSLP license required
  • ASHA CCC-SLP Certification

Highlights:

  • 1099 Position
  • Hourly Rate: $45-$55
    • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
