LHH Recruitment Solutions has an opening for a hybrid Senior Project Engineer for our client in the Cumberland County NJ area. This direct hire role is for a leading beverage manufacturer. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the coordination and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will involve managing all aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through final execution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of projects including identifying potential projects, creation of project submittals, development and tracking of Microsoft project schedules, management of capital spending, forecast and tracking cashflows, setting deadlines, assigning project responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Focused on packaging and process related projects and any other projects as needed.
  • Commercialize required packaging and process innovations as well as identify improvement projects.
  • Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
  • Provide technical support and direction to the manufacturing plants
  • Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
  • Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree
  • 10 years packaging experience, preferably in the beverage industry
  • 5 plus years of project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Hotfill and Aseptic manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge of blow molding PET bottles
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Good communication skills, particularly to Senior leadership
  • Understand OSHA/FDA/USDA/EPA requirements in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule across all shifts to execute work as needed
  • Competency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel and Word

 

 

This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the hourly pay range is estimated to be $120,000.00 - $155,000, and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401k +match and PTO.



Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year
