Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an FP& A Analyst in the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves financial planning and analysis, forecasting, modeling, accounting consolidation, and financial reporting. The position also requires proficiency in various advanced Excel functions and the use of SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake financial planning and analysis to support business decisions
• Conduct forecasting and modeling to predict future business trends
• Coordinate accounting consolidation activities to ensure accuracy in financial records
• Participate in month-end activities, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
• Handle manufacturing cost accounting tasks
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for management's review
• Assist with the migration of the manufacturing system to SAP
• Ensure the reconciliation of accounts and accuracy of journal entries
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring it accurately reflects the company's financial transactions
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Semi-Conductors or Electric Component Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting

• Experience with commodities

• Proficient in Financial Reporting

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass and SAP software

• Account Reconciliation skills

• Proficiency in preparing Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries

• Solid understanding of General Ledger procedures

• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the country where the job is located.
