LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a temporary Payroll Specialist for a client of ours North of Pittsburgh, PA. This role will manage the payroll system, process bi-weekly payroll, and provide payroll data analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the payroll system.

  • Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls.

  • Record and review tax payments and returns.

  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns.

  • Provide payroll data analysis and support employees with payroll inquiries.

  • Calculate retro pays, bonuses, and severance pay.

  • Review and process employee expenses and mileage reimbursements.

  • Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.

  • UKG experience required (may consider Ultimate or UltiPro)

  • Three to four years of payroll processing experience preferred.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and financial systems.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
