Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Amherst, New Hampshire. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have behavioral challenges, supporting their growth and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students' behavioral and educational development.
  • Provide direct one-on-one or small group support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Collect and record data on students progress toward behavioral goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure consistency in behavior management across settings.
  • Provide feedback to the BCBA and other team members to adjust interventions and strategies as needed.
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and adaptive skills.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive environment for students, fostering their engagement and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid RBT certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with ASD, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and work under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
