Soliant is excited to partner with a renowned school district in Livermore, CA, and we're currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time contract positions.
About the School District:
Our school district in Livermore, CA, is mitted to providing exceptional education and support services to students across all grade levels. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive academically and socially.
Position Overview:
- Location: Livermore, CA
- Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week
- Age Groups: TK (Transitional Kindergarten) - 12th grade
- Caseload: Approximately 30 students
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP license
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement speech services following the frameworks of student IEPs (Individual Education Plans), state curriculum, or mon core standards.
- Provide direct individual and/or group therapy.
- Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants.
- Administer speech and language evaluations.
- Attend IEP meetings.
- Conduct and chair annual review meetings for students who receive speech/language services.
- Provide interdisciplinary programming by consulting with teachers and other therapeutic staff.
- Consult with classroom staff in implementing goals of all students.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain data on all students within the caseload.
- Conduct thorough evaluations necessary for quarterly progress reports, annual assessment, and reevaluations.
- Plan daily work schedule to meet the requirements for direct service minutes and utilize indirect time in accordance with District guidelines.
- Facilitate ongoing parent contact and encourage family involvement.
- Depending on student disabilities, propose interventions or supports that fall outside the realm of instruction, such as feeding or AAC use.
