AAC Implementation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to join our team. As an AAC Implementation Specialist, you will work closely with our staff to assess students' communication needs and implement effective AAC strategies. This is a 3-4 day position, working in-person only. You will conduct district-wide AAC assessments, determine the appropriateness of AAC systems and devices, and provide training to staff and caregivers. Our ideal candidate has experience with device purchases, setting up devices, and collecting data. They also have expertise in delivering consult and direct services, with a focus on consultation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current CA SLP License/Credential, Fingerprint Background Clearance, Tuberculosis Clearance, and School Experience Preferred.
