Machine Operator

HOURS:   1st shift, 2nd shift, or Weekends
                 $18-22/hr dependent upon shift and experience
            

• 1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:00pm      
• 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am  
• Weekends: Friday-Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm     

CPS Recruitment is partnering with an East Syracuse based company to find Machine Operators to join their team

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Set up and operate screw machines to produce parts to specification
• Inspection / Quality Control
• Ensure stock does not run out
• Continuously clean out chips
• Monitor condition of machine and report needed repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Screw Machine or CNC experience preferred, but will train
• General computer skills with the ability to learn SAP
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Proficient in reading blueprints and job instructions
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED
