We're hiring for a full-time position as a Certified School Nurse in Deer Park, WA. Join our team and provide essential healthcare services to K-12th grade students, including caring for diabetic students and managing general nursing duties.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a School Nurse through the Washington State Department of Health and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
  • Current RN licensure.
  • Experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred.
  • Ability to manage basic nursing duties and care for diabetic students.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the nurses' suite where students receive medical attention.
  • Administer care to diabetic students and manage their needs effectively.
  • Perform routine health assessments and screenings.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure student well-being.
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
  • General nursing duties as needed.
