The selected candidate will be key in managing transactional accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, and assisting with month-end close operations. Provided below are the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the Accounts Payable Specialist opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage transactional accounts payable tasks ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Conduct regular vendor reconciliation to maintain up-to-date records. • Contribute to month-end close operations, providing timely and accurate information. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounts payable tasks and reporting. • Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and entered into the system promptly. • Follow up on approved invoices, ensuring timely processing and payment. • Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable aging report to identify and address any issues. • Assist in bringing shared services to the Orlando location. • Promptly respond to and resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable. • Supervise customer accounts, taking necessary actions when required.• Applicant should have demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Must possess the ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently
• Experience in entering vendor invoices is essential
• Must have the capacity to manage approved invoices systematically
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its functions is required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary
• Must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
• The candidate should have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.
