LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Client Operations Planner to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position is a client-facing role dedicated to providing exemplary customer service for our specialty chemistry operations.

Job Title: Client Operations Planner

Type: Temp-to-Hire (30 days) then will be converted perm
Location: 100% Onsite, Houston, TX 77086 (Willowbrook area)
Compensation: $26/hr - $28/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8 AM – 5 PM) plus every third weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday, 7 AM – 7 PM). Weekend hours can be worked remotely from home, offering up to 20-22 hours of OT pay for that week
Parking: Free

Position Summary:
The Client Operations Planner will serve as an internal contact for our Data Analytics, Domestic, and International Chemistry customers, including field and operations teams. This outward-facing role will ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. The primary responsibility for this role is efficient and accurate order entry and coordination within the organization to ensure the appropriate parties are engaged in order execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First line of communication between sales and internal stakeholders supporting customer operations through frequent and engaged communication, job tracking, and reporting.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams as well as third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products throughout ongoing customer operations.

  • Accurately input customer orders received and all relevant data per the Customer Fulfillment Order Entry Process.

  • Resolve product or service quality issues by clearly identifying the customer concern to determine the best solution, expediting the corrective action, and following up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.

  • Engage key stakeholders throughout the order fulfillment cycle ensuring effective service delivery and customer satisfaction by tracking orders from initiation to completion.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) such as on-time delivery, customer complaints, and corrective actions to organizational performance.

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of service procedures, policies, and standards.

  • Identify key contacts and facilitate effective communication across departments, including Research & Innovation, Manufacturing, Logistics, HSE, Accounting, Sales, Executive, and Supply Chain.

  • Efficiently maintain records of all client-related interactions for future reference.

  • Demonstrate ability to implement best practices and processes for autonomous and proficient order entry, CRM input, JDE use, and external and internal client communication.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of export documentation requirements to include but not limited to: IMDG, IATA, 49CFR.

  • International knowledge in client operations.

  • Oil and Gas import/export knowledge.

  • 3 or more years of customer service experience, with the ability to efficiently coordinate and balance multiple tasks and competing priorities.

  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or industrial/chemical manufacturing and distribution.

  • Preferred experience with oilfield operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites Applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver superior service quality.

  • ERP experience with JDE or SAP is nice to have—will train.

  • High school diploma or equivalent



Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
