Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a Systems Administrator role in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role primarily involves managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure within a cloud-based environment. The Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining our Azure Cloud Environment, managing virtualization solutions, and supporting the Windows Server infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage our Azure cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Assist with the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Azure services, including virtual machines (VMs), storage, networking, and security protocols.
• Administer and support the Windows Server environment, ensuring its stability, performance, and security.
• Perform regular updates and patches on Windows Server systems, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Manage and optimize VMware virtual environments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and high availability.
• Perform VMware upgrades, patches, and maintain virtual machine configurations.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all systems and infrastructure are secure and meet compliance requirements.
• Work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure the stability of cloud services and internal systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for escalated IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.• Minimum of three years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Experience with Cloud Technologies
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies
• Understanding of Firewall Technologies
• Ability to perform AB Testing
• Experience working with Active Directory
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies
• Skills in Cluster Analysis
• Understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience with Azure Active Directory
• Knowledge of Microsoft Virtual Server
• Proficiency in VMware and VMware Infrastructure
• Experience with Hyper-V technology
