CNC Machinist

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CNC Machinist with experience in both milling and lathe operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce high-precision parts. You will work with blueprints and technical drawings to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in both mill and lathe operations.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code and M-code).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work with precision measurement tools and meet tight tolerances.
- Experience with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
