Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Teletherapy Services in Washington School District

VocoVision is seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an exceptional school in Washington. Our mission is to make this transition as seamless as possible by providing the software, training, and access to a team of highly qualified clinicians. We are dedicated to enhancing communication skills and positively impacting the lives of our students.

As a Virtual SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a virtual school environment. You will work with a diverse range of clients, utilizing teletherapy technology to deliver services remotely. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through online platforms.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Providing virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support integrated treatment plans.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educating clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies for carryover outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and communication disorders.
