Job Description

Our company seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. Responsibilities include repairing 480V 3 phase equipment, using ladder logic to troubleshoot and repair PLCs, and addressing other electrical issues. You will use multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and other tools to identify equipment problems. Additionally, you will work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Note that any serious PLC programming or fabrication will be outsourced.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Missouri City, Texas.

Work Environment

The role is based in a medium-sized 40,000 SF facility that opened in January 2024. The company is still installing production equipment and setting up the warehouse, so candidates need to be patient and adaptable as the company grows. The maintenance team consists of 1 Shift Leader/Manager, 2 Lead Techs on the day shift, and 2 Lead Techs on the night shift, along with 2 Junior Techs who will always work the night shift. Initially, there will be about 5 production workers and a few warehouse workers, with plans to expand as operations grow. The night shift runs from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-3-2 schedule, with a $1/hr shift differential for nights. This schedule means working every other weekend and varying weekly hours, including some weeks with 48 hours, some with 36 hours, and occasionally up to 60 hours.
