Job Description:

Our client is on the hunt for entry-level cable technicians who are ready to wire up their future. These techs will be learning cabling on a grand scale—think of it as the Olympics of cable pulling. With an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for a data center, you’ll be the unsung hero behind the scenes. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

  • Assisting higher-level techs and team leads (think of them as your cable senseis)
  • Pulling cable and fiber (no, not the dietary kind)
  • Mastering color codes (it’s like a giant, high-stakes game of Twister)
  • Punching down and terminating fiber (not as violent as it sounds)
  • Installing cable trays and pathways (your very own cable highway)
  • Building server racks (because servers need homes too)

You’ll likely start by installing cable trays and building server racks. It’s like LEGO, but for grown-ups

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • A burning desire for a career in Telecommunications/low-voltage industry
  • Willingness to learn
  • Punctuality (because time is money, and we like both)
  • Comfort with heights (you’ll be closer to the stars, literally)
  • Reliability (we need someone who won’t ghost us)

Work Environment:

  • New Construction Data Center (think of it as your playground)
  • Initial work will be outside, transitioning to inside new buildings as the project progresses (you’ll get a tan and then some AC)
