Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Huntington Park, CA
Are you an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) seeking a full-time role in Huntington Park, CA? We are offering a fantastic opportunity for the 2024-2025 school year, beginning on August 15, 2024, and concluding on May 30, 2025. This role allows you to work with a K-12 caseload, providing essential speech therapy services across multiple sites.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
Location: Huntington Park, CA
Hours: Full-Time
Rate: $48 - $54per hour
Caseload: K-12, with opportunities to tailor your caseload
Duties: General SLP duties
Role Overview:
- Position: Full-time, onsite only
- Caseload: K-12, with potential to select your preferred assignments
- Travel: Work across multiple school sites in the Huntington Park area
- Support: Work in collaboration with an SLP to ensure the best fit for your skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy tailored to the needs of K-12 students.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and design individualized therapy plans.
- Collaboration: Engage with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement therapy in students education.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: California SLP license.
- Experience: CCC-SLPs preferred, but CF candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Effective communication and the ability to work across multiple sites.
