Shift: M-F 8am-4pm

Salary: $44-54/hr

Duration: 6m contract to hire

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Graduate of AMA council of Education program in radiological technology
  • (ARRT) or (ARMRIT) Certification
  • ARRT (MR) Certification
  • Current CPR and AED certification

Position Summary:

A highly-rated Outpatient Imaging Facility in Austin, TX is looking to add a new MRI Technologist to their team This tech performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. They ensure patient safety and comfort during care, and review images to provide quality diagnostic imaging.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships
  • Highly motivated with great organizational skills
  • Demonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings
  • Must be skilled in written and verbal communication, requiring the ability to read and write effectively and efficiently
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, and presentation software
  • Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
