Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team based in Astoria, New York. This role is crucial in our finance department and involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving any customer inquiries. This position also requires monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records related to customer credit.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account activity.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for processing and record keeping.
• Use CRM to manage customer relationships and interactions.
• Apply knowledge of Epic Software and ERP for efficient resource planning and management.
• Handle various accounting functions and ensure adherence to standard procedures.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle Cash Activity and Cash Handling responsibilities, maintaining accountability and accuracy.
• Use NetSuite for business management tasks including financials, customer relations, and e-commerce.• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Proficiency in using CRM is essential
• Experience with Epic Software is necessary
• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Capable of performing various Accounting Functions as part of the role
• Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to carry out Billing Functions effectively
• Familiarity with handling Cash Activity is important
• Experience in Cash Handling is required
• Proficiency in NetSuite is a plus.
