Job Summary: We are seeking a personable and organized Dental Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
- Verify patient insurance information and handle billing processes.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Manage appointment reminders and follow-up calls.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
