Salary:$17-24/hr

Required Experience:Emotional Disturbance or Cognitive Impairment Experience
Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and students to support learning and development, ensuring a positive and effective classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including special education and English language learners.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers.
- Assist with classroom management and organization.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher preferred).
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
