We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team at Cortica - Neurodevelopmental, providing play-based ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in various settings.

Job Overview

Cortica - Neurodevelopmental is committed to delivering life-changing care to families through our innovative approach to ABA therapy. As a Behavior Therapist, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, counselors, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior-analytic services to children in 1:1 and group settings, using positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the BCBA.
  • Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, to provide direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan.
  • Fulfill all documentation requirements, including data collection and completion of session notes during sessions.
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED or bachelor's degree in human services (or related) is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • You must have experience working with children, either as a Child Development Specialist, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are necessary for this role.
  • You must be available to work in the early and late afternoons and occasional Saturdays.
  • Possessing a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) credential is preferred; willingness to obtain the BCAT credential via Cortica's paid training program within your first 30 days of employment is also acceptable.

  • Starting pay range: $20.57-$27.60 per hour.
