Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are filling multiple Electrical Assembler positions with a starting pay range of $22.95 - $23.45 an hour, based on position and experience for a leading manufacturer of large power transformers in the Canonsburg area. Swing Shifts.
Electrical Assembler role and responsibilities:
  • Prep counter shields, stick and tube assemblies, pre-load spacers, and assemble vertical wind outs on transformers.
  • Set up, wind, dismantle of coil set ups, removal and proper storage of coils.
  • Calibrate and repair test equipment
  • Follow electrical code manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools.

Electrical Assembler requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have additional schooling in electrical applications.
  • Two years experience with transformers or high voltage equipment design, manufacturing, service or testing.
  • Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally.
  • Must be able to pass physical work requirements.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when warranted.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with assistance; 50-60 lbs alone.
  • Ability to pass required math and tester exam.
  • Competency using electric calculators and entering data in the system.
  • Competency using computers and logging data
  • Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen.
