Electromechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will play a critical role in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to assemble electromechanical systems and components.
  • Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and wiring harnesses according to quality standards.
  • Install electrical components, such as motors, sensors, switches, and connectors, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform soldering and crimping operations to connect wires and cables, ensuring proper insulation and termination.
  • Test assembled units using electrical meters and diagnostic tools to verify functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electromechanical assemblies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Document assembly processes, test results, and troubleshooting steps in written reports and electronic databases.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in electromechanical assembly preferred.
  • Previous experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques, including soldering, crimping, and fastening methods.
  • Familiarity with electrical components, such as motors, sensors, switches, and connectors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electromechanical systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation to ensure accuracy and precision in assembly work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation:

$18 - $22 per hour
