Medical Biller

100% Onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85021

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay rate: $18-$23 per hour (dependent on incoming experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process medical claims accurately and efficiently to ensure timely reimbursement.

  • Review and verify coding to minimize claim denials and maximize revenue.

  • Collaborate with medical providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Utilize billing software systems to streamline processes and manage billing data.

  • Maintain compliance with medical billing regulations and guidelines.

  • Monitor delinquent claims and follow up for prompt resolution.

  • Review credits, reimbursements, working collections functions, ICD 10 and CPT codes.

  • Benefits review with patients, insurance coverage, verifications, and authorizations

  • Contribute to a positive team environment and foster effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full cycle medical billing is required.

  • DME and emergency transportation billing experience is strongly desired.

  • Proficiency in medical billing software and coding systems.

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance procedures.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external partners.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.



Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
