Position:Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time
Location:Columbus, OH

Job Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide dedicated support to students in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will work directly with students to help them improve communication skills essential for academic and social success. Youll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessments and Individualized Planning:Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech, language, and communication abilities, and develop tailored therapy plans based on each students unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services:Deliver individualized speech and language interventions focusing on areas like articulation, language processing, social communication, and fluency.
  • Collaboration with Educational Team:Work closely with teachers, special education professionals, and parents to implement communication strategies in the classroom. Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring:Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, document student progress, and prepare reports for IEPs and periodic reviews.
  • Professional Development:Engage in ongoing learning to stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and ensure high-quality services.
Qualifications:
  • Education:Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • License:Active Ohio SLP license.
  • Certification:Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience:Previous experience working in schools or with children is an advantage.
  • Skills:Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
