Our client in the electronics manufacturing industry is seeking a Test Technician II to join their team. As a Test Technician II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the testing team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, and be self-motivated.

Job Title: Test Technician II

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Pay Range: $29.15 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform testing using prescribed methods/work instructions
  • Collect test data for our database then analyze data to make process decisions
  • Assist in selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
  • Performs wide variety of analysis to identify and address problems
  • Perform machine set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A 2-year technical degree preferred or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills. Military Technical Training in lieu of technical degree may also be considered
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing/electronics testing required
  • Previous experience using test equipment preferred (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Chart Recorders)
  • Ability to read detailed drawings and perform basic problem solving on electronic and mechanical assemblies at the component and system level
