We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Dover, PA. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication barriers and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting speech and language screenings and assessments.
  • Implement therapy plans designed by the SLP to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collect and document data on students' progress during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication needs.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow direction and work closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
