Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Associate (Family law)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various issues, including divorce and child custody.

  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant laws.

  • Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.

  • Utilize Lexis-Nexis and other legal research tools to gather pertinent information for case preparation.

  • Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal matters.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients' interests.

  • Assist in mentoring junior associates and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.

  • Proven expertise in legal research, writing, drafting, and negotiation skills.

  • Familiarity with legal databases such as Lexis-Nexis is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
