We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to become a part of our team in Manchester, Connecticut. The role involves handling HR-related duties and tasks in a detail-oriented setting. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for students, parents, and potential students, addressing general queries and providing information about our academic programs.
• Organize logistics for various programs involving students, faculty, and staff. This includes securing facilities, scheduling in-person and virtual meetings, and arranging catering for events like student recruitment and info sessions.
• Participate in conferences, admission events, and visit other institutions (both academic and health care-related) to discuss our pre-licensure, Master's degree, and DNP programs with prospective and current applicants.
• Plan and manage multiple school Open Houses annually and assist with orientations. Represent the school at informational sessions, admissions fairs, and other events throughout the university and State.
• Review and score CEIN_BS applications, participate in monthly decision-making meetings, and assist with the review of diplomas of CEIN_BS graduates for accuracy.
• Support other department staff with the transfer and change of major process.
• Regularly review and update program information, such as forms, brochures, and promotional materials, and monitor the website for up-to-date recruitment information.
• Collaborate with other Admissions and Enrollment staff to provide general administrative support to the office as required.
• Handle customer service tasks and perform related work as required.
• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services is required• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly desirable
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
• Familiarity with Ceridian software is preferred
• Proficiency in HRMS is necessary
• Experience in About Time software is advantageous
• Demonstrable skills in Auditing are required
• Ability to conduct Background Checks is essential
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is necessary
• Excellent Customer Service skills are required
