BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Equipment Operator for an opportunity Blacksburg, VA USA

Position Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Blacksburg Virginia 24060

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP   

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: ((6+ Months (High possibility to extend Contract Duration for right Candidate)

Job Type:  [Onsite]

Pay Range: [$15 to $16.28]   

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

Hours would be M-Th 7-4:30 and F 7-12 with OT potential
Job Requirements:

·         Verify previous operation and own work completed per engineering drawings, planning and other work instructions (Operational Method Sheet, Visual Work Instructions, Manufacturing  Instructions, PS Workmanship Standards)

·         Complete basic operations using all required manufacturing documentation.

·         Correctly store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.

·         Complete paperwork required for each part accurately & legibly.

·         Perform minor rework per Std. Rework Procedures., QHT Instructions, or rework router.  

·         Proficient using Winterm/Connect to access documents and check revisions.

·         Assist in training / cross-training of others.

·         Proficient using QHT Workflow

·         Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

·         Work with minimal supervision.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
