Master Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team as a Commercial Food Service Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial food service equipment, including refrigeration equipment, water cooled ice machines, gas and electric cooking equipment, dishwashing and pot washing machines, and commercial appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize wiring diagrams, blueprints, manufactured specifications, hand and power tools, testing meters and calibrators, and welding equipment to provide diagnoses and repairs.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on training to support the needs of the operations.

Requirements

• Considerable experience in maintenance and repair of commercial food service equipment.
• Education/training in food service equipment repair, electronics, and refrigeration/electrical repair.
• Ability to operate and analyze information from testing equipment.
• Working knowledge of computers to submit and close work orders.
• Virginia Journeyman electrical license or license recognized by the state of Virginia required.
• To obtain universal EPA refrigeration certification within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree and/or master's electrician certification in a trades occupation certified in Virginia or a license recognized by the state of Virginia plus type III or universal EPA refrigeration certification.
