You will collaborate closely with hotel management, the finance team, and guests to ensure efficient and seamless financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
Prepare and track purchase orders and maintain vendor relationships.
Accounts Receivable:
Process guest payments and ensure accurate and timely posting.
Monitor and follow up on overdue guest invoices.
Assist in preparing daily revenue reports and account reconciliations.
Handle billing inquiries from guests and provide excellent customer service.
Customer Service:
Respond promptly and professionally to guest billing inquiries.
Work with hotel management to resolve billing issues or disputes.
Ensure a smooth and positive experience for guests in relation to payment processes.
General Financial Support:
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of financial data and sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and accounting software (e.g., Opera, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
