Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Parental Leave Coverage

Position: Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location:Lynn, MA
Duration: March 2025 - June 2025
Hours: 40-45 hours/week, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a parental leave coverage position in Lynn, MA. This role will focus on supporting K-12 students in their occupational therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head occupational therapist with assessments and the development of personalized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy services.
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into the educational framework.
  • Administer direct therapy sessions and implement interventions to enhance students' functional capabilities.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of student progress and ensure effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head OT with assessments and personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to integrate therapy objectives.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions and enhance students' functional skills.
  • Document student progress and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred.
  • State certification/licensure for school-based occupational therapy.
  • Experience with diverse student needs and therapy techniques.
