Job Title - Process Technician

Description:

Production technician in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. This technician will be responsible for optimizing machinery, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality product. Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plastics processing techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, adjusting, and operating plastic injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Perform frequent mold changes depending on the job.
  • Work on presses ranging from 120 to 850 tons.
  • Maintain robotics and make adjustments as needed.
  • Operate machinery to handle material including overhead cranes.

Skills/Qualifications: Die Setting, Production, Plastic, Mold, Assembly, Mechanical Aptitude, Overhead Crane, Mold setting

  • 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience
  • Ability to perform light preventative maintenance
  • Previous robotics preferred but no required
