Job Title: Part -Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. Position Details:

  • Hours:Part-time (20-24hours per week).
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Duration: Through the current school year, with potential for extension.
  • Location: Onsite in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) to address motor skills, sensory processing, and other developmental challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Track and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on occupational therapy-related goals.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota (or eligibility).
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for helping students develop life skills to achieve independence and success.
