Job Title: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

About ProCare Therapy:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a rewarding opportunity in Minneapolis, MN. If you're passionate about supporting students in developing motor, sensory, and life skills, we'd love to have you join our team

Position Details:

  • Hours: Part-time (20-24hours per week).
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Through the current school year, with the possibility of extension.
  • Location: Onsite in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students needs related to physical, motor, and sensory development.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) to meet students' specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, either in individual or small group sessions.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students' needs are met across various settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for student goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota (or eligibility).
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Passion for helping students gain independence and thrive in their academic environment.
