Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team in Temecula, California. This role encompasses responsibilities such as managing payables, conducting account reconciliation, and providing general support to the accounting team.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payable invoices, in accordance to the company's guidelines.
• Perform precise reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable monthly, rectifying any inconsistencies promptly.
• Leverage advanced Excel functions to optimize financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
• Develop and upkeep spreadsheets for effective tracking and examination of financial data.
• Address payment discrepancies and resolve any issues by liaising with vendors and internal departments.
• Play a vital role in the month-end closing process, which includes making journal entries and conducting account analysis.
• Provide necessary support to the accounting team in completing ad hoc tasks and projects.
• Monitor transactions closely, verifying and adjusting data as needed.
• Execute payments accurately and within the scheduled timeframe.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability to manage and process payable invoices
• Solid understanding of Excel formulas and proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong computer data entry skills
• Excellent ability to handle and maintain confidential information
• Proven attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
