We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be ready to contribute to the company's financial operations.

Job Description:
As a Staff Accountant, you will support the accounting department with a variety of tasks that ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries, handle reconciliations, and assist with external audits. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports.
  • Prepare detailed analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • CPA or pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
