Position Overview
  • Type: Full-Time, On-site
  • Caseload:K-12 caseloads available
ResponsibilitiesImplement Behavior Plans
  • Description: Execute behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support students facing behavioral challenges.
  • Activities: Ensure fidelity in the implementation of the interventions, adapt strategies to each student's needs, and provide consistent reinforcement and feedback. Monitor and adjust techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
Instruction
  • Description: Conduct one-on-one or small group instruction based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Activities: Utilize evidence-based teaching methods, adapt instructional materials, and provide targeted support to enhance learning outcomes. Tailor lessons to individual learning styles and needs.
Data Collection
  • Description: Collect data on student progress and behavior using specific measurement tools to inform and adjust intervention strategies.
  • Activities: Maintain accurate records, analyze trends, and report findings to the educational team for continuous improvement. Use data to refine and optimize behavior plans.
Collaboration
  • Description: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across various settings.
  • Activities: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and provide training and support to staff and families. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance student success.
Strategy Development
  • Description: Assist in developing new behavior intervention strategies as needed to meet the evolving needs of students.
  • Activities: Collaborate with BCBAs to brainstorm and trial new approaches, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust plans accordingly. Innovate and implement new strategies to address complex behaviors.
Team Participation
  • Description: Actively engage in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and stay updated with best practices.
  • Activities: Attend regular training sessions, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Share insights and learn from colleagues.
Confidentiality
  • Description: Maintain strict confidentiality of student information and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Activities: Follow all legal and ethical guidelines, ensure secure handling of sensitive information, and respect student privacy. Maintain professionalism in all communications.
Requirements
  • Preferred: Previous experience in school or pediatric settings.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Employment Type: W-2 Contract
  • Rate: $22-28/hr
