Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client in the chemical industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting ongoing research and operational projects. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques, experience conducting experiments in a chemical laboratory, and high attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work that aligns successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Milford, OH

Pay Range: $18-20/hr
Shift: 1st shift 8-5, M-F

What's the Job?

  • Conduct analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods such as ASTM.
  • Perform test chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects.
  • Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Accurately record and maintain experimental data to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices.

What's Needed?

  • BS or BA degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (with relevant chemistry lab experience) is required.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques.
  • Experience conducting experiments in a chemical laboratory.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow complex scientific procedures and protocols.
